Not everyone in the group wants to drive a ski — and the banana is where the rest of the crew gets their ride. Four to five riders straddle the tube, the tow boat pulls, and the next thirty minutes are a negotiation between grip strength and the driver's sense of humor. It's the loudest laugh-per-minute ratio at the marina, it works from age 5 up, and it runs from the same dock while the drivers in your group are out on their skis.

Will we actually flip?
Only if the group wants it — the tow driver reads the crew. Ask for mild and you'll stay dry-ish; ask for spicy and someone's going in.
Can kids ride while adults jet ski?
Yes — riders from age 5 with an adult on the tube. It's the standard move for groups splitting between skis and the banana.
Do I need to be able to swim?
Life vests keep everyone up, and the tow boat is right there. Falling in is a feature, not a hazard.
